I had a conversation with..about ...today.

例1
I talked to Yusuke today and he told me that he liked my new haircut.
I was very glad to hear that.
I think I'm going to like him.
今日、友介と話していたら、彼が私の新しい髪形をほめてくれた。
とってもうれしかった。
彼のことが好きになっているみたい。

例2
I was chatting with a co-worker today and she said her boss was selfish.
She works overtime every day becauese of all the work he gives her.
My hearts went out to her.
今日、同僚と話したところ、彼女は上司が自分勝手だと言っていた。
上司から押し付けられた仕事のせいで、毎日残業するハメになっているという。
彼女に同情を禁じえなかった。

I had a conversation with my university friends about job hunting.
Erisa said that she wanted to work for the local government.
I started wondering about my future.
大学の友だちと就活の話をした。
エリサが、地方公務員になりたいって言っていた。
私も将来のことに考えをめぐらせてみた。
