コンマはどこで使えばいいの？
　
　コンマは多くの場合、意味的に大きく区切れるところにつけます。
例えば、
　　・副詞節when.../if...などといった、従属節と主節の間
　　・挿入句（節）の前後
　　・関係詞の非制限用法である　,which...や、,when...など
　　・語句を列挙する場合（red,white,and blue)など
　　・日付、同格の語句を並べる場合

In the morning, I spent my time writing scores of New Year's cards, but I should write at the end of the year, no matter how busy I am.

Today, I intended to write some New Year's resolutions on a piece oj paper, but I couldn't.

In the evening, I called my sister living Tokyo, after a long time.

はっきりとしたルールはないが、意味的、文法的に切れるところには入れておいたほうがよい。
